1. One of our sponsored children went under a successful surgery this month. The doctors removed a “Fat lump” from his waist. Fortunately doctors are satisfied with the surgery results and the patient’s condition is improving.
2. Two of the sponsored families found two new born grand children. We congratulate them and the Mercy for All family for such bless.
3. We have also managed to raise enough funds for the sponsored students’ tuition fees, for their second term of the year. The average tuition fee for each student is between $390 (US) to $800, depending on their program and number of credits they sign up to, for each semester or term.
4. Unfortunately, two of the Mercy For All members, lost their fathers in the past period. May god bless their loved ones’ soul.
5. As we approach New Year (Nowrouz), all the sponsoring families have created a list of clothing they intend to purchase for their sponsored families and submitted to the corresponding committee for further arrangements and accommodation with the needs.
6. Most of the clothing required and also New Year’s gif baskets for our sponsored children and families have been successfully distributed.
   
   The gift baskets contents:
   
   
   • 5 kilograms of Iranian Rice and 10 kilograms of imported rice
   • 5 Kilograms of organic cooking oil
   • 2 Kilograms of cube sugar
   • 1 Kilogram of imported dry tea
   • 1 to 3 Kilograms of sugar
   • 4 to 6 packs of Pasta
   • Grains and Nuts (Lentil, pea, split peas and ....) 1 Kilogram of each
   • Washing and cleaning materials (Cleaning powder, dish washing liquids, detergents, anti bacteria liquids, soap, shampoo, Brush and toothpastes)
   • 1 to 3 kilograms of meat

   Clothing Provided:

   • Women: blouse, skirt, pants, under pants, socks, veil and praying veil shoe (12 to 15 dollars each)
   • Men: shirts, pants, under pants, socks and shoes (12 to 15 dollars each)

   
   * From beginning of last month of each year the distribution of clothing and nutrition for the New Year is done based on a pre-announced time table.
   ** Payouts to the families was also arranged so the families can purchase New Year’s gifts, sweets and fruits on their own.

7. We also have managed to relocate one of the families to a better area. Housing committee evaluated the case and made the decision for such relocation based on reports submitted by one of the sponsoring families.
   
   
8. The Mercy For All analysis, shows there will be more financial needs for the next year. This is due to the facts that, the number of sponsored families have increased and the significant increase in country’s expected inflation rate, comparing to previous years. Needless to say, he mercy for all organization needs your help and support more than ever.
